Yesterday we went to my mom's class. They were having a read-a-thon and she is always talking about Mosiah so she asked me to bring him. He had a good time running around the classroom. The kids were excited he was there too. I showed them that he knew how to give a high five and they loved that. I think he got a little confused when they raised thier hand for something b/c he tried to give them a high five then too.

Someone recently reminded me of how much Mosiah has grown. Here's a funny little video from yesterday.

also i'm suppose to start packing up the house and i just don't have the will power to force myself to do it. *sigh. I know that it'll be better in the long run b/c then we will have an eazier move....it's just so annoying, since I just packed everything up 6 months ago. But hey, if it means saving 100 bucks in rent then yeah it's worth it.

didn't get the house, loan grinches nuff said
desided to renew contract at apt complex
bought a VitaMix for aniversary, much smoothie making insues

find out Pica is pregnant
Pica feels sick most of the time, lots of soda drinking to curb nasusa
Sebi's sisters family comes to visit good time
Pica has sharp sharp pains in abdomin, ER visit....9 1/2 weeks along
Sebi gets laid off day before Thanksgiving (thankful we don't have a morgage to worry about)Thanksgiving, made the bestest mash potatos in VitaMix. Mom steals all the left overs of the potatos

apt complex going to charge much more to keep our 1 brm, SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper to move to a 2 brm
Mosiah gets a screaming complex, drives Pica mad.
Sebi and Pica are challanged by little sister to "go on a date" (we went and we had a WONDERFUL time playing pool)
Picaorganizes laundry area, and washes lots of clothes

Sebi goes to some interviews
Thursday play group from 10-12 much much better than Wednesday playgroup that is a hit and miss
Prep on Saturday for Sunday, clothes picked out, diper bag packed, showers done at night.
Went to battle of the ward choirs, 90% of the aduiance is in one of the 7 choirs (kinda funny at the end when they all go up to sing the Hallaluh chorus, very few people left sitting in the pews)
Pica realizes that everything must some how get packed, so they can move a few blgs over
Sebi starts his new job
Which acutally brings us to today. I guess there are some other things that I've missed but I guess that's what happens when you don't post for a long time.

What a great idea!
http://www.persil.com/ThirtyThreeThings.aspx

i'm seriously thinking about printing some of them off so that i can have them in the future when i know that the kids will come to me saying that they are bored. I think the other great thing about this list is that it makes kids creative and use thier imagination which sadly is something i see less and less kids using (at least a few of the kids i know). I think it's fustrating to see children ages 5-11 only ever intrested in playing video games. What about books? What about going outside? What about exploring? Creating? I know a family with a dog and 4 kids....but they got another dog to play with the original dog because their kids just don't really go outside. They have all kinds of backyard space and backyard "toys" like a jungle gym swingset, giant trampoline but they don't ever go out there it seems. I don't know....I think families should do more camping than resorting.....or at least this family i'm thinking of should.

either way. this is a great list!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOSIAH!!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Monday, August 04, 2008

These are the pictures that Sebi drew for me so that Mosiah could have a Peter Rabbit themed party. Didn't he do an awesome job?!?!?!I love them. And thanks to him my little idea for a theme is actually going to work out....I think. I'm going to try and make a Peter Rabbit for the cake too. Oh! and the cutest part about all of this is that as soon as Mosiah saw the rabbit picture he tried to hug it and he was all excited about it. :) awwww.Sebi really is the bestest. Thank you Amor *besito*

this is just a pic of Mosiah today....awwww he just woke up. little does he know that his birthday is right around the corner!

Thursday, July 31, 2008

UGH! i'm running out of ideas to do for Mosiah's 1st birthday. i want to do something thats totally him and that would be cute. I thought of a Peter Rabbit themed kind of thing (we could play hop scotch, and pin the tail on the bunny etc...) but since i dont think i can pull off a real looking Peter Rabbit cake. I don't want to do jungle b/c that is a little over done. I thought maybe I'll just have a regular ol' bir'day...with out a theme at all except that he is turning 1. I don't know.I feel like all the things i've been thinking of aren't original enough or something. :P *phooie.

Arizona

Arizona has been hot hot hot. right now we have our A/C running day and night. We are waiting for the first bill to see how much we'll have to cut back. Really it's not too bad as long as you don't go out in the blazing heat. Thankfully Mosiah doesn't mind staying inside and actually!! I have some news! He's walking! wow!! horray! it's so wonderful to see him get around on his own. He does pretty good turning and just yesterday learned how to clap!

Besides the heat and the baby...Sebi seems to like the new job. and I think it will work out really well for us...the only problem is once we sell our second car I'll have no way of leaving the house except for the bus. *sigh. Well, for now it's fine. My mom is on vacation and she can drive me around. Sebi also said he might look into riding the bus to work which would be nice too.

Oh! and we had a HUGE rain storm the other day here! here are a couple pics

Ah the merry merry month of May. Well, actually its almost over and then we'll be moving. Ack! I sure hope those boxes get delivered today so i can start packing.

Baby is sleeping. Which is good because man! oh man is he cranky when he hasn't slept!
Today my goals are to get the house in a some what liveable order. Or at least get all the clothes picked up. Maybe even put away (that right there will help a lot with the house at least looking picked up)
